River Birch is located just outside of Old Fort, North Carolina. Old Fort is rich in the history of Western North Carolina.
There is a recently restored train depot, and plans exist to recreate the original fort.
Downtown Old Fort includes a pharmacy, a medical clinic, a library, a museum, an elementary school, and fast food. River Birch residents are only 5 minutes from these amenities.
River Birch offers quick access (no hairpin turns) to I-20 for easy trips to Asheviile and Black Mountain.
